As it is the New Year I made a video about visiting the art studio and taking a look around at all the paintings for sale. It starts at the gate then you walk up the drive to the studio, through the door and take a look around. Its about 14mins long and gives you a real good look at a couple of rooms in the studio and some of the paintings.

Be Happy Paintings For Sale
“Don’t Worry be happy”, a phrase made famous by Bob Marley. But preceding him, this perfect phrase originated in the great depths of the Indian Spiritual Guru, Meher Baba, who first coined the phrase. He said that worry was a major problem as it gets in the way of spiritual progress. And if you worry you can’t be happy and you certainly can’t get too spiritual if you aren’t happy. Happiness and the spiritual are one of the same and linked in every way. If you distill happiness you get pure joy and from pure joy you get close to God, and close to God you get pure bliss. So follow the train to feel really happy.
This is why I love painting so much because it gives me the space to focus on what is truly wonderful, feeling happy and content all day long. Every day when I am painting I can be immersed in this wonderful task away from the daily travels of life in my beautiful studio. Combining light, form and colours to create a wonderful positive and happy painting is the focus for the day.
Its a funny business, the art world. I engineer my paintings using every technique I can find to stimulate a feeling of happiness, and the entire business is run along lines where we endeavor to make our customers happy. In the art world it seems as if the modern curators put suffering and shock on a pedestal while ridiculing anything which has any hint of happiness about it. It is so easy to worry, so easy to suffer, even easier to be sad or to shock. Its a peace of cake, in fact easier still so why is it so prized by the modern critics. To rid yourself of worry and feel happy is such a precious task, so hard as to be nearly impossible, so disguised it is rarely seen.
In each painting I engage subtle techniques of colour combinations, light, form and association to create the highest sense of happiness I can. Its a continually evolving process as I oscilate from the abstract to the representational to find the correct balance to engage the heart and dodge the ever oppressive mind.
Spiritual Love Poems Books
Spiritual Love Poems and Paintings have a lot in common. Art is just coloured oil on a piece of canvas until it is made and then it becomes a piece of love in art. The artist translates his feelings into the painting and when you view the painting it can trigger the same feelings back to the viewer.
My paintings are all about fun, love, beauty and happiness. If you distill the inner feelings which you chase through these sensations, you get Spiritual Love, then end product, the concentrated form of pure pleasure.
The Spiritual love poems in the books are riddles, poems and mind teasers which try to trick the mind out of the way so you can see a part of true spiritual love hidden within the poem, just like Rumi and Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu. The paintings in the book and the Spiritual love poems act as the perfect compliments as they work in slightly different ways.
You can see the Spiritual Love Poem books for sale on Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com (see below for links for USA and Europe). The books are very beautiful, full of Spiritual Love Poems and colourful paintings. These poems originated from when I was painting and exhibiting my art in India. You can see more on thes Spiritual Love Poems books on another part of this web site
The Mincracker book is based more on Eastern Spiritual Philosophy and riddles. The Spiritual Love Poem book is more based on metaphors linking the great Oceans to the endless infinite expanse of God. Both books are full of colourful paintings and poems and are a great gift to add a splash of interest to the coffee table.

London Large Oil Paintings of River Thames & Westminster
Colourful large London oil paintings centred around the River Thames and near to the centre of London including Westminster Bridge and Soutwark Bridge using colourful oil paints and Gold Leaf. This is a beautiful oil painting of Westminster and Westminster Bridge with Big Ben piercing the skyline. The sky has a real atmosphere and creates a great glint across the Thames river. Lots of colour detail make this a really interesting and exciting painting to have. 100cm x 50cm x 4.5cm oil on block canvas.
A really beautiful painting just down river from Westminster capturing the fantastic winter light which is so prevalent along the River Thames in February. Big Ben, Westminster and Westminster Bridge in the distance. Stunning colours and texture really make this a painting to treasure. 60cm x 60cm x 4.5cm oil on canvas.
You can see in this painting how the white gold captures the glint of the sun shining through the clouds. On the water the variety of golds really capture the feeling of the sun glistening off the Thames. This really is such a beautiful oil painting embellished by real Gold leaf. I have used a mixture of Golds from 12ct up to 24ct to add tone and colour to the light in the large paintings. In places copper and silver have been used to add to the colour spread. I always love to add light to the paintings and that is why I paint for the light and the love of light and colour. For years I added white and used a dark background to increase the effect of light on the canvas, to convey a sense of brightness. The Gold leaf adds many new dimensions to the work. Its a metal instead of soft oil and canvas. It shines and reflects light and it forms different shapes to the brushes and knives I use. It can have soft edges, hard edges or just glistening speckles. There are different colours from white gold to pure 24ct gold. What I love about it above the light is how it draws you in and reflects the light back. When you look at the painting from different angles and at different times of day it changes depending on how the light catches the gold. When the gold is bright the colours sit back a little and when the gold is reflecting less from another angle the colours come to the front more. Blog on Gold Leaf Paintings
Large Gold Leaf Oil Paintings For Sale – 24 ct Gold.
Large Gold Oil Paintings, I think I have found the love of my life!
These really are such beautiful oil paintings embellished by real Gold leaf.
Then two years ago I was in Courchevel 1850 and Megeve and I visited some of the very expensive art galleries in the french alps frequented by the flamboyant Russian clients. I fell in love in those galleries. They had a hue of gold and monied opulence which just seemed to hang in the air, so thick you could breathe it. It was tacky and it wasn’t over the top, it just glowed in a beautiful and reassuring way. It made you know it was there but it didn’t over power. Subtle beauty, but powerful.
I returned to my studio and invested in some gold leaf which I have looked at for over a year, and it was recently that I began to see how it would work in my paintings and i was inspired to use it to embellish my works.
These are really special paintings and they do take a lot of time and thought to get them to work right so they are going to be a little more expensive. But compared to my trips around some of the more exclusive galleries of London Paris, South France and the Alps they are tremendously good value.
These new large oil paintings with gold leaf will officially go on sale on the web site towards December this year.

Courmayeur and Mt Blanc ski and snowboard oil painting for sale. Epic colours and textures make this wonderful semi abstract oil painting float off the wall. On deep canvas 80cm x 80cm this is an amazing painting and I love it. I can only say the jpeg does not do it justice. The glacier sweeps down from Mt Blanc in the centre and Mt Blanc climbs up to the right through the trees. Pistes part of the Courmayeur ski area deep in powder lie off to the left. Probably be in the £800 mark when it is put up for sale later in the year.
