Painting Description

Skiing Painting at Meribel below Saliure in the 3 Valleys in the French Alps. A bit of a crazy painting with an abstract underpainting in bold bright colours and then partially overlaid with a more realistic impressionist style. Off piste foray in the trees above Meribel under the Dent Du Burgin chair lift (just above Altiport and Blanchot). Off piste conditions and fresh powder lumped onto the trees make for a great day out thought the off piste with waist deep powder. Really beautiful painting reminds me of so much fun on this off piste area above Meribel. Skiers and snowboarders hidden in the trees and powder. Just below is the Loze lift that takes you back to La Tania and Courchevel.
