Painting Description

Ski Painting Mammoth Mountain California, USA. Chair 13 heading up to White Bark Ridge. I love the old 2 man chairs in the US resorts. Most of these characters have disappeared from the European resorts so to find so many of them across the USA is a real treat for me and when I find one, I just love to paint it. They just evoke so many memories and capture so much of what skiing is all about. Wonderful 2 man chairs are slow and clunky but when you get to the top you get a treat of nice quiet niche pistes where fewer tread. Lots of textures on this one so use the zoom feature with mouse over to check all the detail. Acrylic on canvas 60cm x 60cm x 1.7cm. If you are ordering from the USA please email for a shipping quote.
