Blue Turquoise Painting from Woolacombe

Painting Description

If you ever watch the sun go down take a look at the colours reflecting in the sea and you see a fabulous array of colours like in a pao shell or a sheen of oil on water. This is a painting reflecting those colours from Woolacombe beach in North Devon. Strong blues lead into greens, yellow and turquoises. The sky is a rich red with a yellow and white centre of light. Oil on canvas 100 x 80cm. My studio is on the North Devon Coast so when I am not in the Alps I enjoy to paint the wonderful colours of this incredible and wild coastline in all it colours.
