Venice Art Painting. Going skiing in Europe is such an exiting adventure.  There is always a stunning and historic destination on the way to the mountains. For me skiing in Cortina and the Dolomites I fly to Venice and can never resist a night or 2 in Venice. It makes a strange coincidence that the colour scheme I use in Venice inspires itself into the incredibly beautiful mountains surrounding Cortina which take on incredible hughs of pinks and yellows, like a vase of roses with a thorny crown. Oil on art paper 40cm x 30cm. This is one of my very early sketches of Venice in some bold and vibrant colours at sunrise.
