Chamonix Ski painting above Argentiere. Beautiful oil painting of the pistes above Argentiere near to Chamonix and Mt Blanc. Inspired by the early powder epic of the 2013 winter during my stay at Chamonix. Painted just above Argentiere near Plan Jordan heading off down the piste as it curves round to the right into the trees. Lots of textures and colours in the trees and mountains with a wonderful bright blue sky to really lift your spirits. Use the zoom feature with mouse over to see all the textures and details.
