Jakobshorn Davos Platz Painting

Painting Description

Snowboaring skiing painting. At 2590m above Davos Platz is the amazing Jakobshorn peak with iconic building housing the cable car. We first arrived there in a binding blizard and had great “fun”finding the ridge across to the main pistes. I particularily liked the piste number 5 which sneaks down an alley down the side of the building and then opens onto the piste and then drops down beautifully through the black piste to Jschalp. Views accross to the mountains below with clouds moving in from the left and tree down in the valleys. Oil painting on block canvas 80cm x 40cm x 4.5cm with the imahe going round the edge of the canvas.
