Painting Description

Such a lot of fun in this painting from the top of the glacier at Les Deux Alpes. Lots of skiers and boarders heading down the slopes and drag lifts working hard bringing everyone back up again. Lots of texture and colours capture the fun of skiing this great resort.
This was part of a set of paintings I did celebrating Les Deux Alpes and La Grave and the hopeful link up to Alpe d’Huez.
At the top of the world in Les Deux Alpes is this secret slice of heaven. At this top of this twin drag at the top of Les Deux Alpes ski resort there is a stunning view and a magical ride back to the resort, but magic is only magic when you take the snow basher drag across to the land of mythical off piste beasts and this painting is part of a the series of paintings on La Grave. 40cm x 40cm x 1.7cm acrylic on canvas
