Les Arcs 1800 and Vallandry Skiing Painting

Painting Description

Above Vallandry 1600 on what I think was chair 2300 near the link over to La Plagne but it could have been top of Grizzly too. Lots of skiers and snowboarders in this very colourful and textured painting with the chairlift in the middle of the painting and a few off piste skiers hidden in the woods. I loved the sweep of the piste as it flows down from the top of the peaks to the chairs below. The woods bring back some great memories of the off piste jumps and turns as you weave your way in-between the trees. Use the mouse over to see all the details with the zoom feature.
