Painting Description

This is a beautiful ski painting of this stunning ski area. In an awesome loose style with lots of colour and flow, with textures and brush strokes. Its great when a painting comes together this well in such broad strokes of colour. Heading down through the woods at Aspen Highlands just below Lodge Peak chair with huge dollops of snow drooping off the branches of the trees. Deep blue sky towers overhead and mountain peaks lie to the distance. The sun lifts the frost off the trees and the smell of pines and firs fills the air. Acrylic on canvas 70cm x 70cm x 1.7cm.
