A perfect day on Storm Peak Express at Steamboat Colorado. Snow, lots of it. Trees laden with even more snow and even more. Blue skies, very blue, abundant sun lots of it, frosty air and listening trees passing by keeping the calm. Not a sound but the lift and the silence of the trees and a single drop. Only 3 tracks on the mountain and you are only 10 chairs from the top. Does it get any better than this. Not until you get to heaven at the top of the lift. Acrylic on canvas 30cm x 30cm x 1.7cm
