Painting of the start of the  Cannes Panerai Classic Regatta. Great fun as the squall closed in on the beautiful classic yachts to give some very exciting racing and some very wet cameras. This is just at the start with the start boat just off the right hand side of the painting. From calm gentle sea breezes to ruffled feathers and squalls just before the start gun… what an opportunity if you are cloud watching reading the wind. 100cm x 80cm acrylic on block canvas with the painting round the edge of the frame
