Val d’Isere Skiing Painting La Daille. A larger painting from one of my early sketches of the walk along the riverside to the Funival from the bottom of the OK piste at La Daille, Val d’Isere. Bright low sun on a frosty morning gives the painting a great light. The light catching the snow and the Funival add to the wonderful atmosphere.  This is one of my favourite paintings from this area as it reminds me of the many amazing ski trips we had while my daughter was growing up and the trips we had between Tignes and Val d’Isere. 100cm x 50cm Acrylic on Canvas
