Heading low to get out of the storm. Getting the chair from Bruson in the middle of a powder dump, La Pasay. It always seems like you are the only one there as everyone else stays in bed. Hanging on a chair huddled up to keep the powder winds at bay. Its a magical experience from raging gales in white outs to soft patches in the trees as snow flakes gently fall out of the sky dotting you with amazing crystaline forms. Subtle colours in golden green, blacks, greys and just hints of red and yellow. Nice texture under the chair in the fresh powder tracks. A very atmospheric painting in acrylic on canvas 70cm x 50cm.
