Pete has spent many winters in Tignes which is one of his favourite resorts to ski with a great love of the Grande Motte Glacier which he professes to be his most loves mountain peak.

With great access from Val Claret and a rapid funicular which can defy the inclement weather and then the most incredible cable car to the peak. The paintings are all of the older cable car which was most cherished with its aluminium floor and able to run in all but the biggest of storms which the newer higher capacity cable cars are unable. “Such fond memories of this place high above the world being the only people on the cable car hoisted to the top and then nearly blown back off, Ice in your hair and frozen fingers. What a joy by Lord knows why ?
