Painting Description

Large Oil Painting of London, Big Ben, Westminster Bridge and the River Thames. This painting came out a real beauty with so much atmosphere and colour giving it a great depth of feeling. Blues, turquoises predominate with some yellows moving into deep greens. Lovely abstract and impressionist loose style to capture the dancing light effects over the capital as the sun lowers itself glistening and reflecting most gently into the River Thames leading and flowing to the great Ocean ready for the next day. The River Thames with Big Ben, Westminster and the Houses of Parliament in the background. I love the Thames and I  visit the Capital twice a year to paint. Oil on canvas 70cm x 50cm x 1.7cm with the image painted round the edge of the canvas.
