Beautiful Summer at the Studio

After such a beautiful summer here at the studio in North Devon I thought I would share some of the paintings of the area from the beaches of Croyde, Saunton and Putsborough to Ilfracombe Harbour where Damien Hirst new gallery is.

The poppies were in an amazing field just down the road from the studio near the dunes and the sunflowers were in a field for pheasant coer up on the foothils of the Moors on the way to Lorna Doone country.

Over this coming year much will be changing at the Art Studio. We are expanding the display space for the paintings for sale into the large 3 acre flower meadow next to the art studio. To try and give guests a feel for the paintings and where they are created, we are building 3 display studios in the field which will each be themed around a different painting subject and displayed to their optimum in large modern rooms.

The new studio spaces have been designed as luxury hotel suites carefully placed in our wild flower meadow so guests can relax in comfort while taking in the paintings. Each unit will be beautifully designed with marble bathroom, walnut floors, modern zinc roofs and beautiful views. We hope they will be ready for next year. The large paintings for these studios will be the focus of my attention for the next 12 months and the new paintings are something special. I will be keeping these new works of art under wraps until the grand opening.
