Pete’s ski prints of his famous skiing paintings are now available in the UK, USA and worldwide. The prints are printed mostly through an international printer who ships worldwide with printers on most continents.
For a few tips on ordering. If you want to save yourself some money just order the print and then get it framed locally. This is the cheapest option.
The best products to order are the framed prints and the canvas ski prints. If you order anything more exotic just check where it is being shipped from in the shopping cart.
Pete prints are from all of the most popular ski resorts in the European Alps including Tignes, Val d’isere, Les Arcs, La plagne, Verbier, Zermatt, Morzine, Avoriaz Megeve, Chamonix, St Moritz, Davos, Wengen and so the list goes on. Every winter Pete tours the Alps so more resorts are always being added to the list.
Some of the best prints can be some of the close up images of just skiers and snowboarders which can be stunning and abstract made from brush strokes or in 3-d raise profile. Take a browse through all of them in the skiing prints section or just look at the prints listed by resort.
After a long wait I have finally started to paint some Megeve skiing and snowboarding paintings. Here is the first one from the top of Rochebrune 1754m.
A colourful painting from the top of restaurant at the top of the Caboche Gondala on the Rochebrune summit. Sat in the luxury of the restaurant with a coffee, gazing & people watching at the world going by as skiers set off down the Girolle piste. Lovely depth with the distinctive Aguilee Croche in the background.
Argentiere ski and snowboard painting for sale. Lightly coloured turquoise and purple on a smaller canvas of part of the Chamonix ski area. I will be revisiting Chamonix again this winter so expect some more ski paintings from The Grands Montets, Brévent / Flégère ski areas.
Courmayeur and Mt Blanc ski and snowboard oil painting for sale. Epic colours and textures make this wonderful semi abstract oil painting float off the wall. On deep canvas 80cm x 80cm this is an amazing painting and I love it. I can only say the jpeg does not do it justice. The glacier sweeps down from Mt Blanc in the centre and Mt Blanc climbs up to the right through the trees. Pistes part of the Courmayeur ski area deep in powder lie off to the left. Probably be in the £800 mark when it is put up for sale later in the year.

Press Release
This week sees the online opening of the new exhibition of Pete Caswell’s new season’s Ski and Snowboard Paintings celebrating the winter of snow, fun and sunny skies in the European Alps.
Last year Pete toured the Alps on the first part of his trip to photograph, ski and snowboard the most exhilarating and highest ski and snowboard resorts in the Alps. This series of paintings is a collection of all the top runs in the Alps above 3000m where snowy glaciers remain all year.
These places are very special, on top of the world, incredibly remote, and yet you can get there on a fast and powerful ski lift in minutes with very little effort. You are put where human habitation is not possible, but with the help of a lift pass and a board strapped to your feet you can have an incredible amount of fun.
It’s as if these places collect the all the fun up in the world and throw it back at you every time you visit. There is nothing else at this
high altitude to pollute this pure exhilaration, nothing can survive. Even the weather at this altitude can be so extreme that it seems otherworldly. Blizzards of horizontal ice, head high snow drifts and temperatures so low they can freeze you eye lids together. Tackling these runs in a blizzard or bright sun, they never disappoint.
After the extreme cold and bright light of the mountains, happy grins frozen into your cheeks, another wanton pleasure awaits. The reward of the first morning café au lait, or espresso for the needy, in the welcoming warmth of the mountain restaurant, perched high up on these glacial moraines is something else . Warming your hands on a hot coffee by a roaring fire, somehow after all that immense pleasure, you feel as if you have deserved it for playing so hard. With the caffeine boost on top of the adrenaline, you fly like a kite.
